To be straight with you: Shopify is better than mokd at being Shopify. If you sell ready-made shirts, manage inventory or run multiple sales channels, keep it. Most shops will run both — Shopify for the products on the shelf, mokd for the orders that start with “can you make us 48 of these by the 3rd?” Shopify pricing shown at monthly billing, September 2026. Their annual rates are lower.

The short answers.
Do I need to move off Shopify or Etsy?No. mokd handles custom orders — the ones that need a proof before anything gets pressed. Keep selling your ready-made products wherever you sell them now.
Does my customer have to create an account?No. They open your link, build the order, approve the proof and pay. That's the whole experience.
Where does the money go?Straight to your Stripe account and into your bank. mokd never holds your money.
Do you take a percentage of my sales?No. You pay the monthly price and Stripe’s standard card rate, and that’s it. Platforms that take 1–2% of every order cost you more every time you have a good month. Your price here is the same at $2,000 a month and $20,000 a month.
Will it have my branding?Yes. Your shop name, your logo, your colors. Our name stays out of it.
What if I do sublimation or DTG instead of DTF?It works the same. mokd doesn't care how the design gets onto the shirt.
Do I have to take a deposit?Only if you want to. Set any deposit percentage as your default, require payment in full, or change it on a single order when a customer is new or the job is big. It’s your money and your call.
How do I know where an order stands?Every step has a date you tap when it happens — transfers ordered, blanks ordered, blanks arrived, pressing, ready, delivered. The board shows you what’s waiting on you and what’s waiting on a supplier.
Do I have to pay for a year up front?No. Month to month is always available. Paying yearly is just cheaper — $29 a month instead of $39, as a founding shop. And nothing is charged until launch either way.
